Phantoms come in a wide variety of forms. They are normally considered as dark, evil creatures. Some can manifest themselves as other races, others are simply corrupted versions of themselves from a past life.

They are often found to possess abilities such as shadow walking, possession, manipulation of the dead, and soul stealing. Most Phantoms are restless souls that have been corrupted by dark forces, while others are living men whose souls have succomb to the same fate. Almost all are weak against holy and/or light magic. Phantoms can be killed, it's simply a matter of finding there weak points, though the more powerful the Phantom the less likely you are going to be able to kill them.
